Welcome to the Catholic High School Band page! The band has been in existence since 1970, and it has grown to a membership of about fifty. The band has received numerous honors and awards, including superior and excellent ratings at judged contests for its concert band and jazz ensemble, and invitations to play at functions from presidential visits to Razorback games. Many of our members have been selected as All-State and All-Region Bandmembers and have been awarded music scholarships at in-state as well as out-of-state colleges based on their high school band accomplishments.
During the first half of the school year, the full band performs at several Catholic High football games, pep assemblies, and various civic events. In addition, a select group of members, called the Jazz Ensemble, has several "gigs" throughout the year. Jazz Ensemble members are chosen by audition. Every opportunity is given for musical expression.
