The Federal Reserve of the United States sets our country's monetary policy. High schools from around the state and country form teams of students who present an analysis of current economic and financial conditions in the United States. These teams are judged based on the following criteria: knowledge of monetary policy, responses to judges' questions, quality of presentation, research and analysis, and evidence of team cooperation and cohesiveness. This program promotes economic literacy, critical thinking skills, research development, and analysis. It also fosters a closer relationship between schools and the Federal Reserve banks. The Fed Challenge faculty sponser is Mr. Cody McDaniel.
