Mrs. Rebecca Priester joined the Catholic High faculty in the 2017-2018 school year. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry with a minor in math. Prior to joining Catholic High, Mrs. Priester worked as a research and development chemist after college before becoming a stay at home mom. Continuing her education, she studied Russian language at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and received her teaching credentials from Middle Tennessee State University. She taught math and science in Rutherford County, Tennessee for six years before returning to Arkansas to teach AP and IB Chemistry for 16 years at North Little Rock High School. Mrs. Priester currently teaches Honors Chemistry and Chemistry at CHS.
Growing up with an older brother that went to Catholic High, I knew I wanted to be a part of what he always referred to as “The Brotherhood.” I love that I’m able to explore so many of my interests, from joining Broadcast Journalism and JROTC my freshman year to becoming president of the drama club as a junior. As I get ready for college in two short years, I’m thankful for the opportunities I’ve been given at Catholic High that will help me stand out in the application process.
