Academic Support

Dyslexia Program

The Structured Study Hall class with emphasis for those with Dyslexia/Dysgraphia will meet daily for 50 minutes. The class takes the place of a regular study hall period. Small group setting allows for individual assistance and troubleshooting. The student must have a diagnosis of dyslexia and/or dysgraphia before entering the program. Class focus is on the structure of the English language, study skills, assistive technology training, self-advocacy, and learning about the unique strength pattern for those with dyslexia. The class balances teaching of the above concepts with time also devoted to active study of content material.

A $375 fee is assessed per semester.
