Cameron Henderson joined the Catholic High faculty in June 2026. A native Arkansan and 2006 graduate of Hall High School, Henderson brings collegiate coaching experience at both the junior college and Division I levels to Catholic High. He currently serves as an assistant coach at Abilene Christian University (ACU), where he joined the Wildcats’ staff in May 2023.
Henderson’s coaching career includes successful stops at Connors State College, the University of Central Oklahoma and the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. During his time at Connors State, he helped guide the Cowboys to a combined 79–18 record across three seasons, including a 32–2 campaign, conference and regional championships, and an NJCAA Elite Eight appearance. He also helped recruit top talent, including two Region II MVPs and 11 players who advanced to Division I programs.
At Central Oklahoma, Henderson contributed to 75 wins over five seasons and multiple conference tournament successes. Most recently at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, he helped increase the team’s win total in consecutive seasons before joining the staff at ACU.
As a player, Henderson was a three-time all-state selection at Hall High School. He began his collegiate career at Connors State before continuing at Montana State, where he was a two-year letterman and later served as a student assistant coach. Henderson now returns to Arkansas to lead the next chapter of Rocket basketball.
Growing up with an older brother that went to Catholic High, I knew I wanted to be a part of what he always referred to as “The Brotherhood.” I love that I’m able to explore so many of my interests, from joining Broadcast Journalism and JROTC my freshman year to becoming president of the drama club as a junior. As I get ready for college in two short years, I’m thankful for the opportunities I’ve been given at Catholic High that will help me stand out in the application process.
