Mrs. Elicia Davis joined the faculty at Catholic High School in the 2023–2024 school year. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Biology from Averett University and a Master of Science in Biology from Arizona State University, with a specialization in Genetics and Cellular Biology. She also earned her Collegiate Professional Teaching License through the state of Virginia.

Mrs. Davis began her teaching career in Virginia, where she taught a variety of science courses at both Hargrave Military School—an all-male military boarding school—and Chatham High School. In 2017, she moved to Arkansas to continue teaching at a private school, where she taught both middle and upper school science. During her time there, she developed and implemented a Genetics course and organized a school-wide middle school STEAM Expo. Her work in science education was recognized in the March 2022 issue of Inviting Arkansas as part of its Women in STEAM feature.

At Catholic High, Mrs. Davis teaches science and emphasizes real-world applications and problem-solving to help students see the relevance of science beyond the classroom, including connections to systems such as water treatment. She has been recognized for her impact in the classroom, including receiving the 2024 City Education Trust Stephens Award for Outstanding Teacher and the 2026 STRIVE Outstanding Teacher Impact Award.
