Mrs. Rebecca McWilliams joined the Catholic High faculty during the 2010–2011 school year. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio, Television, and Film Production and brings years of professional experience in live television production, film production, and broadcast journalism. Before joining the Catholic High faculty, Rebecca worked at KATV Channel 7.
Since joining Catholic High in 2010, Mrs. McWilliams has taught Broadcast Journalism and oversees the school’s television studio where students produce and televise the daily announcements as well as student-produced films. She also teaches Speech and Communication, and manages student Chromebook tech support and Google Workspace accounts.
Growing up with an older brother that went to Catholic High, I knew I wanted to be a part of what he always referred to as “The Brotherhood.” I love that I’m able to explore so many of my interests, from joining Broadcast Journalism and JROTC my freshman year to becoming president of the drama club as a junior. As I get ready for college in two short years, I’m thankful for the opportunities I’ve been given at Catholic High that will help me stand out in the application process.
