Mr. Todd Ezzi ’98 joined the Catholic High faculty during the 2004–2005 school year. A graduate of Arkansas Tech University, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education with honors. During his time at Tech, he was a three-year letterman in baseball and received All-Conference honors.
Prior to returning to Catholic High, Coach Ezzi served as head baseball coach and head basketball coach at St. Joseph High School in Pine Bluff. In 2004, he joined his father, Tim Ezzi, on the Catholic High basketball staff as an assistant coach and helped lead the Rockets to a State Championship in 2008.
In addition to his work with the basketball program, Coach Ezzi also spent portions of his career coaching baseball and football at Catholic High. In 2013, he was named head basketball coach. Over the next 12 seasons, he guided the program to continued success, highlighted by a 5A State Final Four appearance in 2025. Following the 2025–2026 school year, he concluded his coaching career and now serves as Athletic Director.
In addition to his administrative responsibilities, Coach Ezzi teaches Physical Science, Honors Physical Science, and Religion.
Growing up with an older brother that went to Catholic High, I knew I wanted to be a part of what he always referred to as “The Brotherhood.” I love that I’m able to explore so many of my interests, from joining Broadcast Journalism and JROTC my freshman year to becoming president of the drama club as a junior. As I get ready for college in two short years, I’m thankful for the opportunities I’ve been given at Catholic High that will help me stand out in the application process.
